- Statement of Purpose
The Youth Ministry Advisory Committee, through the youth ministry programs of First Lutheran, helps youth identify their roles as Christians in the world and as active members of this church family. We undertake service projects, share in fun and fellowship activities, and promote friendships and a sense of Christian belonging.
- Activities
Monthly meetings are held for middle and high school youth. Regular "fun" and service activities are planned throughout the year. Youth Ministry advisory committee (made up of youth and adults) meets monthly to plan activities and oversee the program.
- Nature of Group Membership
Everyone is part of the group! If you are a member of First Lutheran in middle or high school, you can take part in the youth activities offered throughout the year. Some of our activities are inter-generational and involve the whole family, such as trips to Hershey Park, ski weekends, etc.
- Meetings
All youth meetings are held on Sundays at 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. in the Youth Room. High School Youth meet on the first Sunday of each month. Middle School Youth meet on the second Sunday of each month. The Youth Advisory Committee meets on the third Sunday of each month.
