Statement of Purpose
This committee researches, prepares and recommends to the Congregation Council an annual budget for First Lutheran Church. They also act as an advisory board to the church treasurer and financial secretaries. As the year's giving patterns become apparent, they then may recommend where the budget can be adjusted to more closely match the church's income.
Activities
In preparation for the budget, the committee annually holds hearings at which representatives from all other committees present their funding proposals for the next year.
Nature of Group Membership
Membership is open to all members with an interest in budget and finance.
Meetings
Monthly on the second Wednesday, 7:30 p.m. in the Library/Resource Center.
