Stephen Ministry invites you to God’s Aloha A service for those who grieve Tuesday, June 8, 2010 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. First Lutheran Church Optional Attire: Hawaiian Reception in the Fellowship Center after the service In God’s book, endings are always preludes to new beginnings. God’s Aloha is a special communion service in memory of your loved ones who have passed on. In Hawaii , Aloha means “hello” or “goodbye.” It also means love and affection. God’s Aloha means that God is with you in your goodbyes, losses and tears. And He is with you as you open your arms to the future with your new hopes and dreams, and new beginnings. God’s Aloha means – until we meet again in that day when there is no more pain or suffering, but only God’s light and love in us and around us forever! (Adapted from Journeying Through Grief by Dr. Kenneth C. Haugk) Read sermons from previous God's Aloha services!
